Welcome to The Music Staff...established 1985 The Music Staff is a private music school located in the Western Branch part of Chesapeake and accessible to all of Hampton Roads. The Director, Mary Ann Medlin, and all Music Staff instructors are active in the music community and share with students a love for the arts through the highest quality of teaching. Our goal is total musicianship through developing personal skills and a life-long involvement with the arts. Private lessons for beginners through advanced students are offered for piano, voice, guitar, electric bass guitar, woodwinds, strings, drums, and brass instruments. Students are offered a School Term plus a shorter Summer Session. This year our school term begins September 9, 2009 and will go until June 11, 2010. Students are welcome to start lessons any time during our school term or summer session. Our summer session will begin June 22, 2009 and will go until August 20, 2009. Please call if you are interested in lessons or one of our other programs!  Kindermusik Adventure Camps Now in Session! Summer Recital August 13 6:30 pm 2010 - 2011 School Year starts September 8  INSTRUMENTAL RENTALS The Music Staff is an affiliate of Music and Arts Centers. As such, we rent band and orchestra instruments for private students as well as for local school students. SPECIAL NEEDS The Music Staff is pleased to offer a class for children with special needs.
